BENIN
Benin is a coastal country. It has three (3) landing points from ACE, SAT-3/WASC and Maroc Telecom West Africa. There is deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Benin Republic to Burkina Faso and Niger Republic which will enable the countries to leverage on the huge bandwidth capacity to fully enjoy broadband advantage.
The terrestrial fiber optics cables seen in the map are layed by three (3) mobile operators SBIN SA, MTN Benin SA (Spacetel Benin), and MOOV Africa Benin.
The country has two (2) government-owned Data Centres and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
BURKINA FASO
A landlock country with one (1) virtual landing point. There, exists deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Mali and to Burkina Faso. There is also extension of fiber optic infrastructure deployment from Burkina Faso to Niger.
The terrestrial fiber optics cables seen in the map are layed by three (3) mobile operators TELMOB (Onatel) S.A., Orange Burkina Faso S.A (Former Airtel) and Telecel Faso S.A.
Burkina Faso has one (1) Internet Exchange Point and no government-owned data center.
CABO VERDE
Cabo Verde is a coastal country which has three (3) landing points of SAT-3/WASC, Ellalink and SHARE. There, exists deployment of submarine fiber optic cable between Cabo Veder and Senegal owned by SHARE submarine cable company.

The terrestrial fiber optics cables seen in the map are layed by the operator CVTelecom. The country has two (2) mobile operators CV Movel, UNITEL T+.
The country has two (2) government-owned Data Centres and and no Internet Exchange Point.
CÔTE D’IVOIRE
A coastal country with five (5) landing points of ACE, Main One, SAT-3/WASC, WACS, and Maroc Telecom West Africa. It also deploys fiber optic infrastructure to Burkina Faso.
The terrestrial fiber optics cables seen in the map are layed by three (3) mobile operators Orange, MTN, Moov.
The country has two (2) government-owned Data Centres and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
GAMBIA
A coastal country with one (1) landing point of ACE with a design capacity of 20 Tbps distanced from South Africa to France and length of 17,000 km. There, exists deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Senegal-Dakar to Gambia.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by four (4) mobile operators Africell, COMIUM, GAMCEL, and QCELL and one (1) standalone fixed-telephone operator.
The country has one (1) government-owned Data Centre and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
GHANA
A coastal country with five (5) landing points of ACE, GLO -1, SAT-3/WASC, WACS and Main One. There is deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Ghana to Burkina Faso and Togo.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by four (4) mobile operators namely MTN, GLO Mobile, AIRTELTIGO, VODAFONE (GHANA TELECOM).
The country has one (1) government-owned Data Centre and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.

Guinea is a coastal country which has one  (1) landing point of a submarine cable,  ACE with a design capacity of 20 Tbps distanced from South Africa to France and length of 17,000 km
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optica seen in the map are layed by five (5) mobile operators SOTELGUI (LAGUI), ORANGE Guinea, INTERCEL Guinea, CELLCOM Guinea, and MTN Guinea.
Guinea have one (1) Internet Exchange Point and no government-owned data center.
GUINEA BISSAU
Guinea Bissau is a coastal country which has one  (1) landing point of submarine cable – ACE. There is deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Senegal-Dakar to Guinea Bissau.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics are layed by two (2) mobile operators MTN and Orange Bissau.
LIBERIA
A coastal country with one (1) landing point of submarine ACE. There is also deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Liberia to Sierra Leone.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by three (3) mobile operators namely Lonestar Cell MTN, Orange Liberia, LTC Mobile.
Liberia has three (3) government-owned data center and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
MALI
Mali is a landlock country with no submarine cable landing point. It receives data connection from Niger and Senegal. There, exists deployment of fiber optic infrastructure from Senegal-Dakar and Niger. The country aslo deployed fiber optics infrastructure to Burkina Faso.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by three (3) mobile operators namely Malitel S.A, Orange Mali, Planor.
Mali has have one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
NIGER
A landlock country with no submarine cable landing point. There exist fiber infrastructure deployment from Benin, Mali, and Nigeria. The country also deployed fiber optics infrastructure to Mali.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by four (4) telecom operators namely AIRTEL, ZAMANI, NIGER TELECOMS and MOOV AFRICA.
The country has one (1) government-owned Data Centre and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
NIGERIA
A coastal country with six (6) landing points of submarine cables ACE, Equiano, Glo1, MainOne, SAT3, and WACS. Nigeria also extended fiber optics infrastructure to Niger Republic.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by four (4) mobile operators 9MOBILE, AIRTEL, GLO, and MTN and two (2) standalone fixed-telephone operator.
The country has two (2) Internet Exchange Points and no government-owned Data Centres and.

The terrestrial fibres optics cables are layed by five (5) mobile operators – Expresso, FREE, Hayo Telecom, Orange, and Promobile.
The country has two (2) government-owned Data Centres and one (1) Internet Exchange Point.
SIERRA LEONE
Sierra Leone is a coastal country with one (1) landing point of submarine cable – ACE. Sierra Leone also gets fiber optics infrastructure from Liberia
The terrestrial fibres optics cables are layed by three (3) mobile operators – AFRICELL, Orange and SIERRATEL.
TOGO
A coastal country with three (3) landing points of submarine cables – Equiano, Maroc Telecom West Africa and WACS. A fiber optics infrastrature from Ghana were also deployed to Togo and Burkina Faso.
The cables of the terrestrial fiber optics seen in the map are layed by two (2) mobile operators namely MOOV Africa Togo and Togo Cellulaire and one (1) standalone fixed-telephone operator.
